In some species the rear end of the body ends in two or three lobes. Typically they are 20 to 30 centimeters long (8-12 inches) but only 1 millimeter wide. Unlike earthworms, their bodies are not segmented. The marine forms are in the Class Nectonematoida, while terrestrial and fresh water forms are in the Class Gordioida. These animals constitute the Phylum Nematomorpha. They do not harm people, pets, or plants. They have turned up in bird baths, water troughs, wet sidewalks, toilets, and crops in moist soil. In New Hampshire they are mostly found during the late spring and summer. This parasite usually gets its host to commit suicide by water, thus, killing its host in water, as does the legendary Kraken.Horsehair worms are very long, slender parasites of insects that are found in moist places. Once people are getting diagnosed, Scientists and Doctors can study and document how this organism is affecting humans, and together we can find a cure for this nightmare. Hopefully, I will list all the symptoms as they appeared, in order, so that people, Dr.'s, and Scientists, can find all the information in one place.Ä«etween this page, and my other pages, I hope there is enough information for people to start getting diagnosed with the parasite symptom / symptoms in humans. I will try to make this page as factual and easy to follow as possible. I also have a blog: where you can type "parasites" into the search box at the bottom of the home page to view the many posts about my journey. Here is a link to my parasite playlist on that channel. I have a YouTube channel, "thesecretisgratitude" where I have documented my story.
